Kingston Creatives last week celebrated its 6th anniversary to much excitement at its hub in downtown Kingston.
The festivities, which featured a press conference and cake-cutting exercise, also treated guests to a private tour of its world-renowned Water Lane murals.
At the event held on February 28 at the F&B restaurant and cafe, the non-profit organisation founded in 2017, also used the occasion to announce the first 50 founders of the creative city. The founders comprising a number of private sector companies, government and international non-governmental entities such as the World Bank, European Union and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) were lauded for their respective support and partnerships delivered in cash or kind over the years. The Jamaica Observer was named among those announced.
